Do not explain the details of your resume

It is not allowed to write explanations, comments, footnotes, etc. in the resume. Only dates, facts, achievements.

Remove referrers
The worst that could be is the “Recommendations” section and the phrase “Provide upon request”. And the meaning of this section? The list of references is superfluous. No one will call them before the interview with you. And after the interview, you can provide this list if there is a request.

Remove tables and large indents
The tables in the summary were adopted in the early 2000s. Then the whole civilized world abandoned them. Do not show yourself as a dinosaur.

Also, do not occupy most of the resume with very large indents on the left in the document.

Do not show resumes to familiar HR specialists if you are not sure of their professionalism
We have many HR professionals who consider themselves gurus and give advice left and right. Find out how many vacancies they have closed themselves, how many people a day are interviewed on average. What books have read about recruiting. How many of them were foreign.

I’m doing a little research, so write in the comments on this post which of all the tips described was the most valuable to you. This will help me understand your needs and write another cool article on how to sell yourself at a higher price during an interview.
